A leading industrial and technology solutions company is looking for a Service Engineer – Piping to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial piping systems at client sites. The role requires relocation to Jamnagar for project/site assignments and offers strong exposure to industrial, refinery, and process plant projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, inspect, and maintain industrial piping systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on piping systems, valves, pumps, and related equipment
- Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and piping layouts
- Troubleshoot piping-related issues and coordinate with site teams to resolve them efficiently
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Prepare service reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation
- Provide technical support to clients during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in piping installation, maintenance, or industrial site projects
- Knowledge of industrial piping systems, valves, pumps, fittings, and pipelines
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and piping documentation
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and relocate to Jamnagar for site-based assignments
Nice to have
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or process plant projects
- Knowledge of hydro testing, leak testing, and piping inspection practices
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and permit-to-work systems
